In 2022, the creation of a new scholarship fund was established in honor of Jane & Kevin Roche. The fund was created by the children of Jane and Kevin Roche to celebrate the lives and achievements of their parents.
Eamon Roche, Alice Roche Winthrop, Anne Roche, Denis Roche and Paud Roche were determined to repurpose Kevin’s Pritzker Architecture Prize, a symbol of the zenith of architectural achievement, as ongoing encouragement to young designers just starting their architectural journey. In this way, the family is making the Pritzker work for the betterment of architecture in a new way, refocusing its lens from the most heralded to the least. The Roche Scholarship becomes the ongoing tribute to the legacy of Jane and Kevin.
Students who have completed two years in accredited undergraduate architectural programs or have been accepted into an accredited graduate program are eligible to apply for this scholarship. Preference will be given to students enrolled in a Connecticut based architectural program or are a Connecticut Resident.
